I am not sure what exactly it is, but there is something extremely cool about the Swedes. They know fashion and sure know how to create style within the home. I stumbled across this gorgeous Swedish home during my daily blog reads this morning. What I am loving about this place is those rustic white washed floors and walls mixed with a splash of blue stripe here and there. Oozes cool if you ask me! Amy x

Collections - Glass Bottles and Jars
I had a big sort out of our kitchen open shelves. I’ve put all the glass bottles together, it is quite striking. Here is some inspiration for styling your open shelves. I love glass bottles on the top shelf and whites and ceramics on the lower shelves. Even better if you have a collection of preserves. We have also got pantry storage jars arriving in June x

Rain Rain Go Away
It is a really miserable day today in Auckland, heater is on, the day is grey. I think we do sometimes secretly enjoy the transition to winter, well I know I do. I love getting the electric blanket out, hibernating and eating roasts on Sunday… just taking time out from the hustle and bustle that is the one barbecue after another in summer! You need a break! Although we didn’t get a decent summer this year in Auckland so we are all a bit bitter about winter coming along so fast! I actually can’t believe it is May already and we here at Father Rabbit have to think about Christmas ordering.. complete calendar malfunction!
Make sure you do your best to keep dry… raincoats (a big yellow one I would suggest), stylish umbrellas and warm scarves. Turn some lamps on, watch the rain against the window… and start that vegetable soup. No need to let the rain get us down.
Snuggle up little rabbits, it’s time to get warm!

Isn’t this just insanely gorgeous? Don’t you just want to be living here, right now? I do that for sure. Its official, I am in love with it all; the white walls, that Smeg fridge, those delish couches and that gorgeous rug. The white love affair continues and why not, right? Bathroom Bliss
After a long week and with the hubby away, I treated myself to a new magazine and a hot soak in the bath last night, candles and all. Sadly it wasn’t in the antique claw foot bath that I was dreaming of, but all the same I was in heaven. Here at Father Rabbit, we do bathroom luxuries well. Now that the months are getting colder and the body temp is winding down, I think it is high time to stock those bathroom cupboards full of our Father Rabbit goodness. Amy x

Dining Room Love
Who doesn’t love sitting down to a long evening filled with good wine, good food and good friends to share it all with? I do, that’s for sure. My friends could probably all vouch for that and what better way to do it, than to do it in style? Im thinking, a little bit French, a touch rustic and a lot of charm. I think I have found some pretty damn stylish dining rooms that fit my criteria. I would totally be thriving in this environment with good food, wine and friends that is for certain! Wouldn’t our Father Rabbit products sit nicely on these dining tables? Right up Father Rabbits alley. Amy x

White House Wonder
Right, so by now you must have realised that, yes, I am totally obsessed with white interior. Hence the reason this gorgeous wee home has captured my attention. I really am a big fan of white washed furniture and here, mixed with the white washed floors, it all works so well. Totally loving that cute cubby hole bed, any child would. Amy x
