We have just received our first delivery of the iconic glasses of French cafes, bistros and school canteens by French company, Duralex. They are understated simple glasses that are easily handled, shatterproof, microwave and dishwasher safe. Designed in 1927 and produced since 1945 using Saint-Gobain’s patented glass tempering method. Our everyday glass of choice. Aside from water and juice the Gigogne glass is perfect for a swig of red wine. Their charm also lies in their price. $5.10 for the Gigogne 220ml and $5.50 for the Picardie 250ml. These will last a very long time and will always come out looking perfect from the dishwasher.
