ahhh… Juliette. You bought something from Father Rabbit and I nearly died, you mentioned us on your Facebook page and my head nearly popped! You make gloriously beautiful clothes, you have a huge following and you noticed us! Juliette is probably Father Rabbit’s very well mannered cousin…? I’m sure of it, look at her website and visit her beautiful store.. they are definitely related! I have always noticed Juliette Hogan’s business.. let alone the clothes. My business partner at Nice+Clean (the t-shirt company I used to have) used to come home prancing around in new JH threads and we used to admire and ogle her clothes when they were on show at Showroom 22 (PR company)… she was one of our idols for Nice+Clean… step forward 8 years and our paths cross with Father Rabbit. What a brilliant gorgeous business is the Juliette Hogan brand / shop / designs and communication. Just really nice and real. Well mannered clothes, just the right kind of flowery, teamed with a monocromatic palette and fine fine tailoring. Of course Father Rabbit adores her soft white understated shop interior and workroom. Her brand and style do not ever completely switch and change every season with the latest fashion… she remains true to her original starting “look” but it never dates and remains fresh and gorgeous each new season… did I mention she also does bridesmaid dresses.. smart lady!

How Father Rabbitty are you?
Thin or Thick Pancakes? Thick if there are bananas, bacon and maple syrup involved. thin if its lemon and sugar. (we’ll let this one pass.. 1 point!)
Same routine each day or different? Same. always usually. I’m not to great with change. (1 point)
Washing Must Dos? Hand wash all your precious pieces with delicious soap suds. (1 point)
Morning or Night time person? Morning. (1 point)

Best Fatherly advice handed down to you…
look people in the eye when you meet them and talk to them. there is nothing ruder than someone not looking you in the eye. it’s a pet hate of mine.

Does anyone in your life share the same or similar philosophy as Father Rabbit? What do you get hung up about? What needs to be just right in your life?
all my j ho girls. they all share a similar approach to design and aesthetic as me. i get hung up about the smallest things. sarah my designer assistant will tell you…probably insignificant to others but to me not so much. i can only write in black ink pen or pencil - but it has to be the right hb. all my coat hangers need to be the same. and garments always need to be facing the same way in a closet. fresh flowers in the office can only be white - the list could go on and on…

Juliette’s Favourite Father Rabbit products are…. all the kitchen bits and pieces. i love cooking and baking and all things that make this a more enjoyable experience. i love the enamel bowls and jugs. so lovely!. xx
