Maya Villiger, the photographer and writer behind the blog www.turnedout.tv. Maya is self taught. Her photos are beautiful. She simply takes stunning photos of people she meets who are wearing clothes that make her happy. She also makes wonderful fashion collages. Turned out is a nice way to spend a few stolen moments. Maya herself is one of my style icons.. she is always fresh, understated, tailored and gorgeous. Father Rabbit specifically likes her quiet obsession with stripes.

At once delicate and down to Earth, I like that, plus I eat a lot of salads for one, so these are kind of a perfect size.

My husband eats lots of noodles, and these make watching him a whole lot less Chinese take-out’ish.

Because even on rainy days you have a bit of blue to look up at.

Because you’re gonna have to compromise in life, you need to first figure out what you can’t compromise on, what you have to stand for, and work from there.

Yes Derek (her husband), but not when it comes to the chores, just about his work. I get hung up on having clean clothes, I need my whites to be just that - white, I need my jeans to smell fresh everyday - yes I know it’s not very rock n roll : )
